In this lesson, students will be introduced to the concept of a digital life and start learning about the impacts of their digital footprint.

In this lesson, students will define physical and digital security and understand the difference between them.

In this lesson, students will define passwords and passphrases and distinguish what makes a good password.

Lesson 7 – Introduction to Networking

In this lesson, students will understand the basics of networking and understand the components of a network.

Lesson 8 – Introduction to Protocols

In this lesson, students will understand the importance of protocols as well as explore the different types of protocols.

Lesson 9 – Introduction to Encryption and Ciphers

In this lesson, students will learn how to decode an encrypted message using a Caesar Cipher as well as identify examples of encryption in the real-world.

Lesson 10 – Types of Ciphers

In this lesson,students will learn two additional types of encryption: Book Cipher and Steganography.

Lesson 11 – Encryption Methods

In this lesson, students will learn about the methods for encrypting data, including public and private encryption.

Lesson 12 – Ethical Hacking

In this lesson, students will learn what ethical hacking is and its importance as well as learn the difference between white, black, and gray hat hacking.
