Who We Are
Who We Are
With growing industry needs, and 300,000 unfilled jobs in cybersecurity, ASU’s Cybersecurity Education Consortium (CEC) is actively working to empower students at any age to be the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and leaders.
The CEC works to partner with local high schools and community colleges to create pathways for students into the field of Cybersecurity. We collaborate with industry and organizations around the Valley to create meaningful curriculum. We work with our fellow academics at ASU and beyond to combine our resources and talents to better prepare students to lead the cybersecurity industry into the future. The CEC also performs STEM outreach for local schools and teachers to help equip them with meaningful tools to cultivate and foster enthusiasm for the computer sciences.
Trista Zobitz is the Project Coordinator for the Cybersecurity Education Consortium. She works with faculty and staff to support their cyber programming. Additionally, she works to build curriculum pathways from the K-12 schools to the university creating a pipeline of students to enter the cybersecurity workforce.
